The expert investigation does not consider the actions of the Pussy Riot band, who organized a "punk prayer service" at a Moscow church, to be a crime, Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper reported on Thursday, citing attorney Violetta Volkova.
The experts concluded that the only possible crime is that the group could have caused offence to believers, said the attorney of one of the arrested. This kind of violation is punishable by a fine of 1,000 rubles ($34.1), she added.
